Getz adds 25 years of financial and healthcare leadership to growth company

SAN JOSE, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–VitalConnect®, Inc., a leader in tele- and in-hospital wearable biosensor technology, today announced the appointment of Heather C. Goetz, CPA, MBA to its Board of Directors announced that it has received .Getz brings his 25+ years of corporate experience in creating long-term value through leadership in finance, general administration and healthcare. Getz has significant expertise in strategic planning in the areas of finance, investor relations, compliance, M&A, and especially cardiac monitoring.

Getz is currently executive vice president and chief financial officer of Butterfly Network Inc. (NYSE: BFLY), a digital health company transforming care with handheld whole-body ultrasound. He also held leadership positions at VIASYS Healthcare, Cardinal Health, Alita Pharmaceuticals, Healthy.io and BioTelemetry. During his 12 years prior to Butterfly Network, Getz served as BioTelemetry’s Chief Financial Officer and Managing Officer, responsible for all aspects of the company’s finances, investor relations, human resources relations, legal and compliance functions.
