Fleetwood’s Berks Surveying & Engineering Inc. has announced the appointment of two staff members.

Robert D. Haine

Robert D. Hain is appointed Vice President. He is a PA Licensed Surveyor, Sewer Enforcer, Licensed Drone His Pilot, and Senior Drafter/Designer and Manager for the company’s Engineering and Land Surveying Division. Hain oversees land planning services for the company’s commercial, residential and agricultural projects.

Amanda Marburger

Amanda Marbarger is named Estimate Manager, Agricultural Planning Specialist and certified in Nutrition Management. She assists commercial, residential, and agricultural customers with their zoning, zoning, permitting, NRCS 590 planning, PA Act 38, and nutritional management planning needs.

Pottstown Hospital — Tower Health

James A. Cook, DNP, MBA, RN, NE-BC has been appointed Chief Nursing Officer at Pottstown Hospital. In this role, Cook will be responsible for the strategic, operational and financial performance of nursing and patient care services. Cook is responsible for maintaining standards of nursing practice throughout Pottstown Hospital and its facilities, ensuring that the practice environment focuses on his ANCC his magnet model and supports excellence in practice and care delivery.

James A. Cook

Cook joined Reading Hospital in 2014 as Unit Director and has held several key positions, including Operations Director of Emergency and Surveillance Services and Senior Director of Emergency Services. He also served as Interim Chief of Emergency at Pottstown Hospital in 2022. Most recently, he served as Senior Director of Clinical Operations for Tower Health.

Cook holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Chamberlain College of Nursing in Chicago. She earned her Master of Business Administration degree from the Keller School of Management in Downers Grove, Illinois. His Doctor of Nursing Practice is in Healthcare System Leadership at Chicago’s Chamberlain College of Nursing.

Bryon Killian of PE has been promoted to Business Unit Director for Entech Engineering’s Citizen Environmental Resources business unit. He will succeed PE’s Robert Weir, who will become president later this year. In this role, Kilian will oversee all aspects of the business unit, including engineering/design, resource management, business development, project management, and client management for the company’s municipal, water and wastewater, and industrial environmental services.

Killian joined Entech in 2002 and was promoted to Principal in 2013. As a Principal, he played a key role in the growth of his Entech’s civil and environmental services, leading business development and working with numerous clients on successful sewage, water, and stormwater projects. System operation and evaluation, data analysis, permitting, and engineering services from design to build.

Killian holds a BS in Environmental Engineering from Pennsylvania State University. He is a Pennsylvania registered professional engineer and licensed sewer operator. He lives in Schuylkill County with his family.
